Snowy White

The project is an upgrade and redesign of a contractor-grade apartment for a couple in retirement, adapting a standard unit to a calmer, more refined stage of life.
 

Starting from a basic layout, the intervention aimed to create a bright, quiet, and harmonious home while keeping construction minimal and timelines tight. Through a redefinition of the kitchen and public areas, and precise choices of materials, lighting, and finishes, the apartment underwent a significant spatial and visual transformation.
 

The custom-designed kitchen features a central island with an integrated media compartment, combined with light marble and mosaic finishes that establish a balanced, restrained palette. The entrance is defined by bespoke joinery in white and oak, introducing warmth from the first moment.
 

Existing furniture was carefully integrated with new wood flooring and selected metal details, creating a harmonious dialogue between old and new. A water filtration system was added as part of a holistic approach to everyday comfort and wellbeing.
 

The result is a composed and inviting home, offering clarity, calm, and functionality — perfectly suited to this new chapter of the residents’ lives.
